The Royal Hotel provided a comfortable stopover during our journey to and from the Scottish Highlands. the hotel's pet-friendly policy was a major plus for us, as we were traveling with our dog. the basic but adequate room was clean and quiet, offering a good night's rest after a long day of driving. the free parking was convenient, although the busy road made crossing a bit challenging. The bar food was enjoyable, although the second meal did seem a bit dry and the pepper corn sauce was too thin. the staff were accommodating and always responded to our requests promptly and with a smile. Overall, the Royal Hotel offers good value for money with its comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and convenient amenities. While there were minor issues with the food and parking, we still enjoyed our stay and would consider returning when traveling northwards again.
